Lowther Holiday Park

Lowther Holiday Park is the perfect setting for
your holiday home or timber lodge, set in 50 acres
of natural woodland on the banks of the river
Lowther.

The park is ideally placed for access from the M6
and the A66 and close to the Scottish borders, with
Ullswater, the finest of all the lakes only 5 miles
away.

Lowther Holiday Park is the ideal base for your
Touring caravan, motor home or tent and has won
5 star rating from the British Graded Holiday Parks,
AA rated David Bellamy Gold Award for the last six years and also listed by Practical Caravan as one of Britain's top 100 hundred family parks.

Lowther Holiday Park

We currently have 4 sites available for holiday homes or lodges - Click here for more information.

Lowther Holiday Park is one of the North of England's premier centres for Luxury Lodges and Holiday Homes and we always have a selection of both available, viewed under Homes for Sale - New, Timber, Used and Customer Sales.

We can supply any make and model of new Lodges or Holiday Homes.

For more information please look under Homes for Sale in the menu at the top of this page.

The Squirrel Inn on the park offers a friendly, Family
Meeting place where you can have a meal or a take-away or just chat over a drink inside or out on the those summer days. If sport is your thing, the wide screen shows all the sports on Sky that are played during the season, we also have a shelter that is lit and heated for the dog lovers and smokers.

The Mini Market on the park is well stocked with everyday groceries and off licence and all reasonably priced so that there is no need to go off the park to the shops. There is a good range of caravan
accessories, toys and items for fun on the river.

We hope to have an amenity building completed in 2009 on the Forecourt to cater for children of all ages in an unlicensed environment and be able to promote competitions in the building and on the park.

We share the park with an abundance of wildlife, red squirrels, hares, deer, rabbits, badgers, foxes can be seen at different times of the day, with bird life a twitchers paradise. Wild flowers are allowed to grow in uncultivated areas to attract butterflies and other insects.
